Indian Embassy Services to Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia Eastern Province !!

Indian Embassy Minister and Deputy chief of mission, on Saturday officially inaugurated here the new Indian passport and attestation outsourcing center offering embassy services to Indian nationals in Eastern Province.

 “The new outsourcing office is in line with India’s policy to reach out to the expanding large Indian communities in different parts of the world and to provide efficient and transparent services in a comfortable environment to the Indian community with minimum additional financial liability,” said Shahare.

Two embassy mission officials from Riyadh, Shahare said, will be deployed at the center regularly on Thursdays and Fridays in order to monitor and to provide attestation facility. The rented office premises for Indian counselor service mission in Eastern Province near the International Indian School Dammam was closed down on Friday.

The mission has entered into a subcontract with Dubai based VFS Global for outsourcing its passport, visa and consular services. Indian consulate in Jeddah outsourced its consular services last December and an outsourcing office started functioning in Riyadh on Feb. 11.

The new center is located at New Al-Adama District, Al-Rashed Al-Mutlaq Building, Shop # 5, Ground Floor near Al-Muna Internationl Indian School. The center will be working from Thursday through Sunday from 8.30 A.M. to 5 P.M. and will receive passport applications for renewal and attestation of consular documents in the initial stage. SR15 will be charged for passport related jobs and SR10 will be charged for any type of attestation documents by VFS Global. 

The consular wing of the Indian Embassy offers, among others, passport and document authentication services available in all major cities of Saudi Arabia.

Days and timings for submission of passport-related applications:
Thursdays through sundays (four days a week)
From: 08:30 hrs. to 15:00 hrs.

Days and timings for delivery of serviced passports
Next thursdays through wednesdays from 08:30 hrs. To 17:00 hrs.
Delivery of lop/damaged cases: after 30 days.

Days and timings for submission and delivery of attestation documents
Thursdays and Fridays only
From 08:30 hrs. To 16:00 hrs. With delivery of the same after every half an hour interval.

VFS charges: for a passport: SR.15/- & for attestation: SR 10/-.
Lunch hours : 12:30 hrs. To 13:30 hrs.

ADDITIONAL SERVICE CHARGES TO BE LEVIED BY M/S VFS GCC LLC :

For Indian passport-related services : SR. 15/- per application
For Attestation of documents : SR. 10/- per document
For Visas : SR. 70/- per application
In Free Renewal cases :  VFS will take one-time service charge only.
Indian Workers Welfare Fund :  SR 8/- extra along with government fee prescribed.

Tatkaal fee for visa issuance within 48 hours subject to clear records: Additional SR.135/- government fee and SR. 50/- additional service charge of VFS are to be paid. 

Tatkaal service for issue of passport is also available and applicant has the option to submit application at the Embassy as well.

M/s VFS will have an Office on the premises of the Embassy for ATTESTATION OF DOCUMENTS SERVICES, which will include Sponsorship Declaration, Police Clearance Certificate, Power of Attorney, Sworn Affidavit/Declaration, Emergency Certificate, attestation of Certificates/Degrees, Life Certificates, attestation of opening of NRE A/c form, NRI Certificate, Change of Profession letter, Salary Certificate and any other misc. attestation-related consular services/issue of letters.
