The Iguazu Waterfalls, Argentina-Brazil Border - Amazing and Beautiful places !!

Iguassu Falls is a natural phenomenon you may visit at the border of Argentina and Brazil. There are more than 270 falls in the area where
the cliffs and islets lie scattered in a half moon shape. From the visitor center, you can head down the trails or ride a picturesque train. There are two basic circuits: an upper path and a lower path.
Iguazu Falls are known throughout the world as one of the most beautiful  and majestic natural waterfalls man has ever seen. The falls themselves sit  on the Iguazu River and rest on the border between Brazil and Argentina.  Visited by many people every year, the Iguazu Falls are one of the most popular  natural tourist destinations in South America.  The first European explorer to find Iguazu Falls was Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca,  a Spanish Conquistador, who came upon them in 1541. The fall went mostly   invested after that until being rediscovered once again in the late  nineteenth century. The name Iguazu comes from a local Indian  language and roughly translates as "Big Water".

The lower path leads to the base of the falls where the intense crash of the falls releases a thick mist into the air. It is a truly unique experience worth an adventure.

I needed some place that would not only wipe away all the dust and grime of that nation, but also allows me to forget all my follies I committed therein. My intended escape route out of Uruguay was ‘over the land’ trip to Porto Alegre in Brazil, but as nothing ever happens according to plan, on a whim, I bought a ticket to Foz do Iguacu, gateway town to the famous Iguacu Falls, which many tout as the world’s eighth natural wonder – that kept me wondering what the other seven were!

Think Niagara Fall is impressive? Straddling the frontier between Argentina and Brazil, Iguazu Falls are taller and more than twice as wide. It is among the most visited spots in all of Latin America, and it’s hardly surprising as the beauty of these waterfalls is breathtaking to say the least! At the same time, the falls' natural setting has been beautifully preserved and the surrounding forests are home to all sorts of birds and wildlife. For those fortunate to make the trip, I recommend you cross into Brazil (one-day visa permits that can be processed overnight). The view from the Brazilian side to the Argentinian side is an incredible panorama whose beauty is matched only by its powerful sound!!!
