· Prior to use of plant air
secure valid approval from pre-com hydro test manager, only authorized person
shall operate downstream valves after removing LOTO. Work area must be
barricaded with signs.
· Ensure all hoses are
checked for correct pressure ratings, check for any signs of cracks and
leaks, ensure whip lashed arrestor installed, Chicago clamp fittings
installed with lock pins.
· Use of jubilee clips are
prohibited use only crimped type clamps to secure hose fittings
· Proper work planning and
proper coordination with other department working in same location.

adequate drinking water provided to workers and sufficient rest as per heat
stress flagging system.
