Excellent Placement Record of Graduating Engineers in Tamilnadu..

Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) University had an extremely good placement session this year, with 2637 offers being made to students till November 5, 2014.

For the batch passing out in 2015, campus recruitment has already started. On Day one of placement, three companies – Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro were given slots. Cognizant offered 1502 jobs followed by 1105 offers made by Infosys and 1082 by Wipro. Salary range offered by companies at SRM placement drive (at present) is Rs 3- 3.5 Lakhs per annum.

On Day 1 of placement at SRM University, HR at Wipro, Mr Viswanathan said, “We are very happy to be a part of placement drive in SRM University on Day 1 slot. We found good qualified students are in SRM, with employer requisites of knowledge and practical experience combined with communication skills”.

Work Applications, a Japanese company has been visiting SRM for the past three consecutive years. WORKS APPLICATIONS has offered a student an annual package of 5 million Japanese Yen (approximately 33 Lakhs). This company also offers winter internships to some of the SRM Students.
